In the summer of 2018, Kuruks was selected as the 40th pick in the draft by the Brooklyn Nets.
At the Brooklyn side, the Kuruks played two seasons, then stayed briefly in the Houston Rockies as part of the NBA Players Exchange and then played with the Milwaukee Bucks.
