During the broadcast of the match between Crvena Zvezda and Spartak Subotica, spectators noticed red dots on the faces of the players of both teams, and many wondered why!?
Namely, the band Red and White from Subotica joined the global initiative to raise awareness of violence against women and in this way they sent a message of support to members of the fairer sex.
Many celebrities participated in the campaign, which was carried out by the company “Mozart” in cooperation with the Coordination Body for Gender Equality of the Government of Serbia, among them the representatives of the match at the stadium “Rajko Mitic”.
“Do not make your cheek red”, is the message that footballers throughout Serbia wanted to send, among them, along with representatives of the match Red Star and Spartak, footballers from Radnicki from Kragujevac and Napredak, members of the professional staff of these teams, as well as referees.
The event has been supported by basketball players and football players in Serbia, but also by many other athletes, more than 650 of them have worn T-shirts with this message in previous seasons.
It’s a global initiative that started from Serie A, when Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic and other stars at Calta sent a message in this way that violence against women is not allowed.
Zvezda footballers have already responded to various measures on several occasions, so together with the company “Mozzart” they have visited the safe houses in Serbia several times.
During 16 days of activity, from November 25 to December 10, for every ticket played that had at least one pair with women’s teams, Mozzart increased funding to help organizations caring for women victims. violence.
